Where do I get a hold of either brabus door pins, brushed aluminium or chrome door pins with surrounds for a W202?

I have seen the chromes SRS badges too, but like you, I don't have a clue what the url was! SorryShude said:I found a place in germany online (not matrixcar listed above) that also sold practically everything you can imagine, chromed for MB models. Darned if I can find it now though. I think I was searching for chrome SRS badges.

From the parts counter? Worth checking out!portzy said:For about a quid the chrome B Class door pins, (w/out surround), fit most models including the C, A, SLK, CLK. Worth a punt for pound 'apiece?

Yep, sounds like fun. Not looking forward to pulling the door trim off my car again as every time I do it I break some more of those stupid white clips! There is a general problem with the door pins on the W202 but I don't remember what it is, I'm sure I'll remember once I've torn the car apart.portzy said:EDIT. Just found this number on an old post it note in my drawer at work. Methinks its the right one but I'll double check tonight.

EDIT EDIT. Just checked with MB Bradford and the Nos are correct. I've asked for a dozen @ 78p each + VAT so if anyones interested?????

I should call in at your house sometime, do you still have that length of kitchen worktop going spare? I'm about to move into the new house and will actually have some storage space soon!![]()

I think this is the problem with the W202 pinsportzy said:There's no need to remove the cards, you just grip the old ones, (buttons), with pliers or something similar with a bit of tissue,(or preferably card), twixt the pliers and button and un-do them. The new ones just go back on hand / finger tight. Winding the window down does make it easier. Its just the button / pin though, not the surround as well, but it does look good.
In the USA the door lock pins always stand proud of the top of the door trim, the UK/euro pins sit flush when locked.Wully said:I know that Jerry : www.formymercedes.com sells the pins and the surrounds
portzy said:Yep, I'll see if I still have the Pt number. The polly bag's somewhere in one of my secret hiding places in my garage but I think that I have a few spare knobs lying about if there's enough to go round.
Portzy

sym said:You've got me thinking now .. I could swear the B Class in the showroom that I looked at had chromed ones, and when my car turned up was disappointed that it didn't ! But at that price ... I'm off to the dealer ! (unless you have got 4 that you want to get rid of Portzy ! - let me know !!)
