wheres FP relay please

So it ran when you lived up the fuel pump?

Were the 2 fuse's blown allready, or did they blow while it was running?

No. To be honest ijust tried turning her over a few times then bust into life for about 20secs.
Prior to that the fuses where ok. Iv had the OVP and the fuel pump relays out earlier today.

The first time I checked the OPV last week it had a blown 10amp.
The 30amp fuel pump has always been ok till the start up today.

10 amp and 30amp blown?

If it ran for 20 seconds the fuel pump relay and fuel pump must be ok, I would be inclined to replace the fuse's and try to start it again. If it blows the fuse's again then it needs further investagation.

Could it be an intermitant fuel pump problem maybe gummed up and sticking/not putting fuel through?

Iv just tried starting again no joy.

Possible yes. Can you hear the fuel pump run for a second or two when you put the ignition on?

If you cant, you need to get under the car and test wether power is getting to the pump when you are trying to start it. If it isnt, the next suspect would be the fuel pump relay contacts sticking. If you are getting power to the fuel pump, you need to see if it has a good earth. If it has a good earth conection, then the fuel pump is at fault.

You do realy need to disconect the wires to the pump, and run it from from a battery or booster pack to test the pump is working and see if the car will stay running.

It cant be anything major, as it did start. :)

Guy close to me breaking a e220 so should get fuel pump from him possibly by the weekend.
