Wheres my MAF ?

v220 cdi 2000. Do i have a maf ? I don't see one anywhere

on early CDI engien they dont have MAF as such

Very odd i thought because all my other cars of the same year had one.

Parts list shows one sitting between the air filter and the intake manifold. Item 98 here.

m104 thats mine but definitely no maf there and no sign of wires either

M104 is petrol to start with you have a am 611
and EPC covers various version. on the CDI engine you have a air intake temp and presure system normally located on the intercooler pipe to the manifold

Sorry i mean the m104 air box is the shape of my airbox. I will have to look at the pipes tomorrow. Are they equivalent of a maf sensor ?

yh on the spinter version of the engine both sensors our in housing. like a maf but dont look like one.

What we find is people use code readfer etc it will give a MAF like code and rahter then look jus phone use for a MAF and we are like errrrm it dont have one lol
