As title. ( not airmatic so air suspsension to rear only - bags replaced in last 10k)

Anyone have any idea ?

Are the factory items made by sachs or bilstein ?

Any part numbers ?

Any working part finder sites that will give me factory OE OEM or other proper part numbers ?

Based on reg number GSF says no parts listed ECP only offered me Bilstein B4 I think

I carefully entered my VIN on nemigaparts but it says VIN not recognised. I have matching numbers and full history print for the car obtained by me from main dealer.

I have the original German text info/data sheet in small yellow folder that came with the car when new.

Aware there are various factory set ups so most keen not to get wrong items.

Not needed urgently but replacement front shocks for the future are a consideration.

Not interested in adjustable suspension set up or upgrade just looking at cost effective option to replace originals with something acceptable...car has done over 140k

i suspect I will take off a wheel and try to look properly for part number myself at some point...assuming part stamp/label still visible.

Thanks

Try putting your reg into autodoc , its a good site for shocks info.

Try here with your VIN Be aware the front shocks have an adjustable, or perhaps more correctly, a multi-position lower spring seat.

Thanks

After some digging on mercedes.zap.com (& before seeing kind replies above) I got a return part number A2123235700

If anyone can confirm then great.

If not then I will admire the tumbleweed

Were on mc phearson struts now in 2011. No adjustment... 👍👍

Now I am confused as above link mentions various part numbers. Some discontinued and then superceded but not all.

Phone a dealer and query that part number , maybe look for stickers on yours for numbers.

My thoughts similar.....Will check for label 1st if visible with wheel off. I am aware some dealers allegedly don't like giving out parts numbers without a purchase.

Be coy and say something like ,my car has this shock fitted can you check the part number matches my car , if its wrong have you the correct part in stock.

Thanks...My 1st Merc. I am more used to BMW OE & OEM part sourcing.
