Hi i just bought a 203 coupe and I LOVE it however the roof is abit sticky...

Any ideas what type of greese i should use on it?

uh oh... forget the grease you have stretched cables... you know this is an expensive job?
its very very common

Hi thanks for the reply

I cant see how stretched cables would make the roof gritty and slow...

It opens and closes fully... It the cables had stretched surely it wouldnt open or close fully?

Hi Christian - blast from the past - I assume this is the same Rover/Toymotah Christian with a screen name like that ;)

One thing that works wonder on the roofs is to lubricate all the sliding channels etc with Silicon or PTFE it last unlike WD40 that dries up making things worse

The PTFE is the best its transparent ´, does not stain, available from Screw fix or wood working tool dealers as its used on router cutting blades

are you the Mark from down south (the ecu modder?)

BTW WD40 worked so i will get seom PTFE... thanks for the help

Cheers

Christian
