A friend of mine is going to replace his old c180 in june/july , and has a budget of £6k . A drop in the ocean for you C63 owners , but for him this will be a major expenditure . As my Merc is purely for pleasure , my paramaters are somewhat different to his , so we are trying to sort out the most appropriate vehicle for him . It needs to be reliable , have reasonable economy , and as good a spec for the money . Preference for 4 door,and leather/wood interior . Asking a lot in this price range perhaps , and my initial thoughts are 03/04 plate C220 CDI . However , I cannot claim to be an expert on anything but the bleeding obvious , so thought I would throw this into the forum for some guidance. Any advice on years/models to avoid would also be appreciated.
