Which Shock absorbers ?

Question is does anyone have KYB shock absorbers fitted ?

Which are best rear shockers Bilsteins or KYB ?

Looking at replacing those on my CL203

Sachs are mostly MB OEM so will be fine

Boge are in fact Sachs (Boge, Sachs, and Lemforder are all part of ZF) so will be fine

Bilstein are very good so will be fine

KYB = low-cost option if replacing the shocks on a budget

That's what I know, anyway - if someone knows any different please comment...

I have only ever replaced with Sachs or Bilstein. No problems.

Just searching about KYB and this seems to be the general consensus! The KYBs I've priced for my S210 are about £15-20 cheaper than the Sach equivalents. This is not a huge amount but is a huge percentage of the actual cost.

I think I'll be going Sachs too.
