I was going to fit a multimedia adapter to my 2000 W215 and then fit a DVD/MP3 player to that as others have done.
However, given that my car has the TV pre-wiring installed the thought occurred that it might be just as well to install a TV Tuner (and possibly the MB Digital TV Tuner Kit) and feed a DVD/MP3 Player into the auxiliary input on the TV Tuner. Therein lies my quandary, which TV Tuner has the auxiliary inputs?
I know that, after 1/09/2002, the TV Tuner came with the said inputs and that up to A001433 (my car) the TV Tuner part numbers were either A220 820 00 97 or A220 820 15 97. I have only ever seen the latter on ebay and they don't look to have any inputs.
From A001434 onward the TV Tuners fitted were either A220 820 08 97 or A220 820 18 97. Are these the models with auxiliary inputs and will they fit in my car?
