Too right. I bloody love a decent footchase provided I catch someone at the end. Don't tend to lose them too often...

My last one was a while ago but still very entertaining. Caught a car thief red handed and ran after him down a long straight road. He gained a little distance on me initially but I then dug in for the long haul and realised I could run for far longer and faster than him, so calmly shouted "I wouldn't bother mate, I run half marathons!!" at him. At which point he stopped.

Bargain. And I always give the old "Phantom police dog" a try. Works about 30% of the time.
