when it comes to coding a module ( not programming.)
On my W221 it is very easy to add aux, buy a £25 cable, wire it into the command, drill the glovebox and snap it in the hole.
Then it needs 3 minutes on Star to click the enable aux option and click save. Maybe 2 and a half of the 3 minutes is loading up star and plugging it in, 30 seconds to enable it.
One dealer didn't call me back, the other dealer was hesitant oohing and aahing and the independant said it would take the whole day, they would have to download the entire ECU, contact Mercedes who will make the changes and reupload to the vehicle No idea what he was smoking.
It was far quicker for me to buy a clone star that was DHLd over in 2 days and I enabled it within 20 minutes of opening the package, installing the hard drive and enabling the aux.
TBF that independant made me hit a wall straightaway
