will W202 side indicators fit W124 ?

will standard W202 side indicator lenses (the ones on the side of the wing) fit a W124?

i'm talking about the side indicators (small ones on the wing). not the ones by the headlight.

The early ones will do, they are the same parts.

Early ones W124/W201/W202, ether clear or Orange:

Later ones W210/W202/W208 will, if you file down 2 of the 3 'teeth'.

I did it with my old (very early) W202.

Maybe to late to tell you, but they are/were about £3.70 each from the stealers (square ones) a couple of years ago.

the rounded ones. The ones i got were genuine MB ones brand new in merc boxes @ £8 for the pair.

I checked the part numbers (A2028201921) and it came up with £4.39 each with my 10% discount i get.

Works out almost identical to the dealer price but saves me a trip to the dealer.

When they arrive you will see that there are 3 'teeth' sticking out in a triangle formation (1 at the top, 2 on the bottom corners). In order to get them to fit, 2 of the 'teeth' need to be filed down.

Do it right and they should fit snug, not as 100% tight as the ones before, but good enough that they wont move or fall out

Good mod!, im not aware of any other W124's with them fitted

not sure what they will look like but i'd thought i'd give it a go. I have some silver bulbs (that glow orange) to go in aswell.
