Morning all! I lost my contacts in Windows Live this morning, which I discovered by trying to forward an email. Clicked the "To" button in the address bar, and discovered a blank page. I went directly to Contacts and found the same again.

So far, I have rebooted and scanned for malware and viruses (nothing shown), and am now able to access contacts from within the email address bar, but the Contacts page is still blank. Any ideas please, anyone? I'm not interested in alternative programs, thanks, and could someone suggest a good way of backing up the contacts please, bearing in mind I can't access them from the Contacts page, and copy and pasting doesn't work?

Thanks in advance (hopefully!).

Try this
step 1 .......Go tools click on options
step 2
click on ...........Privacy

then you shoud see your allow list and also block list
step 3
you just click on the name in your list then right click his allows you to add back in messenger

Thanks David, but the only Tools option is within the Home tab, and is greyed out. The options above it are Send/Receive and Work Offline.

I think what's happened is that when I opened my emails this morning, I also signed in using Windows Messenger (or Hotmail), something I don't normally do. Once I'd signed out, I was back to normal.
