my c36 developed a problem today .
drivers window will go up and not come down managed to get it down once on the way home ,and the n/s passenger window had stopped working all together, from the center consol and the passenger switch???
annoyed really!!

What year is the car?
When was the last time you actually seen the back passenger window working properly?

Battery disconnected and one-touch operation not re-programmed?

Switch has two positions, gentle press = move window until you let go, hard press = one touch up or down (press and let go window will go all the way).

After disconnecting the battery one-touch needs re-programming by using the gentle press to wind the window all the way up and down again so it can find the end stops.

to be fair the rear window does not see much action but today was hot and thats when i noticed it the car is a 96 plate!!

If you are handy with a spanner you could take a look at picture “F” here.

If you can get the back window to move the slightest bit then It would be worth your while taking the motor apart (without removing it from the door) and cleaning the brushes and commutator.
The front window is a bit more complicated and harder to access but the fault could be related to the non working back window.
