Wing mirror indicator not working - MOT failure?

Was wondering if anyone knew whether this was an MOT failure?

They need to work for the MOT, side repeaters are a legal requirement.

If it's a folding wing mirror, wires will likely have cracked in the loom where it folds. They can be repaired with a bit of effort and time.

Definitely an MOT failure, Indicator repeaters must be functioning.

I had a similar issue on my W210 E55, the problem was where the outer cover slid into the wiring connector within the mirror.
