Hi there,
Fitting LPG to my Vehicle.
Using Autodata 3.18, it identifies two plugs. Funny my Car seems to have two ECUs, I've figured out the petrol injector pulse wires as they run the same colour from the injectors to the ECU, which I figured had multiple locking connectors on, the other seems to have ASR written on it, so I assume it's traction control.
Anyway I spliced the wires which Autodata gave me the colours, pinout and which connector it should be connected to and nothing... the ignition coil wire doesn't give off an RPM signal like it should hence I think it's the wrong wire as it's definately listed as an input signal by autodata. Also the Lambda probe sensor wire, listed as blue and red doesn't give off a signal and is the only wire into the ECU connector that is braided alongside it's blue counterpart.
I had a right carry on trying to get a Switched 12v but in the end used a test light, as the inital engine relay wire I spliced into was only live in the accessory position but not with the engine running.
Petrol Injectors feed back to the GAS ECU correctly, car starts and runs fine so no issues there.
Just need the relevant colour wire for the H02S/Lambda and the Rev Signal from the Coil Pack...
Many Thanks, hopefully someone has a proper Mercedes Diagram.
