WIS and EPC red herring in London. Scam ? Fraud ?

a) bank transfer in Euro (EUR) to German account in Euros, or

b) bank transfer in Pound Sterling (GBP) to UK bank account.

If that is more convenient to you, we can arrange for a paypal
payment to be transferred to us through a club member (we do not hold
such an account ourselves). But that is NOT possible as a credit card
payment via paypal. It is only acceptable if cash funds are sent via
paypal (i.e. you must hold the money as credit in you paypal account
or arrange for it to be transferred to your paypal account
beforehand).

Western Union money transfer can also be arranged if possible.

If your contacts in the UK would make the payments on your behalf,
the easiest and fastest way is payment in cash into UK account. CDs
can usually be despatched the same day.

Delivery is only via mail, either by Airmail to your address in
Australia, or we can arrange for delivery to your contacts in the UK
(postage would be reduced to 6 Euro in that case). We cannot accept
cash payments in person.

The lure of cheap EPC and WIS might be enough to someone willing to send to this creep who has no PayPal account, no address and doesnt accept any payment with purchase protection.

I mailed a while ago with him
he want me to send money to uk, and ship the cd from germany to me.
he told me to they have it as extra service form a mb club so i ask him what club can i be a member etc .but that wasn't posseble and he strated to get mad to me , because i din't trust


so I ask him i got a frend in uk he wil pickup and pay you (vinny)
but that wasn't posseble and he gave me only a adress from a building in london with a lot off oficces in it (vinny told me that he checked the adress)

or you could contact a MBClub member who might have a copy of the EPC - and has a real address in the UK... but it is the american 2002 epc (no C180 or A class, all LHD)

I strongly suspect that the James character is just trying to steer clear of anyone from MB that may disapprove of his merchandise. I have to say that I wouldn't trust him either and did look into a (similar) opportunity a while back for similar money, but backed off as the seller gave me no confidence that what I would receive wouldn't be time limited, faulty or affordable.

I do know of someone that has a North American version that works fine (only costs a tenner ), but doesn't list models that weren't exported to the US, so no 220CDI engine bits. Still very useful for other parts though.

Hi, Guys

Wis has to run under Windows NT. And the CDs are only update data. Even if you can
install it, system will give you a LAN ID, and ask you keyin a License Key, then Wis can
be used. However, after 02/2003, Mercedes use DVD not CD.
