I see these Workshop Information System Manuals on ebay for a tenner in dvd format. Anyone got these and think worth having?

Not sure as I think they are the US version and if so in some details different to the Euro spec. Not that it makes them unusable but electrical and emissions are usually different plus a few other details and of course LHD. Isn't access to the online version still part of the Mercedes-Benz Club membership?

I bought one from what appears a popular UK seller but I just could not get it to work. I have even enlisted IT friends to get it to work but no joy.

Can you clarify, did you purchase WIS or one of those model specific service CD/DVDs?

Setting up these applications does not ask that much of IT expertise but some experience about the application itself.

I bought a manual for my Merc AMG and the MB EPC, also bought the same offerings for my Audi TDI Cabby from these people, quite a protracted installation process but straight forward and very good instructions on site, and good support.
Go for the instant download rather than the dvd, Its a big download, but well worth it.
