On Saturday I was driving through town when I noticed a sudden vibration as I turned at a junction - it felt very much like I was driving over rumble strips. As I accelerated, it stopped, but then appeared again as I let off the accelerator and coasted to a junction. It vibrated while I sat there and then stopped as I put my foot down to set off again. This worryingly continued....
As I got onto an open road I noticed it had lessened so I put my foot down and it disappeared!

It did the same thing again yesterday, but this time I stopped it by knocking the auto box down to 2nd and giving it a good rev up to about 4,000rpm. That stopped the vibration again..

I'll try to visit my local indy if I get time, but in the meantime.... any ideas? :dk:

Engine mount(s) collapsed/badly worn..

One mount normally goes before the other due to engine twisting under load. Usually much worse when idling and diminishes as you pull away, coming back when you lift off

Could be a torque converter judder too.

I'd get it diagnosed firstly.
