wossit worth mister???

I have used the valuation service from Glass's free on the Vauxhall website http://www.vauxhall.co.uk/vx/finance/valueyourcar.do

So being brutally honest I think that it is overpriced by quite a bit, probably not what you want to hear. Also this time of year is also notoriously slow which won't help. I would think for private sale you will do well to get £7500.

hi mate,

too expensive to put it bluntly... you need to reduce to around 7-7.5K.

If you were to trade it in to a garage you would get between 5-5.5K

Thanks

Jay

Hello

Have you looked through Autotrader and piston heads to get a 'proper value' running through the guides are ok but real world figure are better to go on.

Have you advertised it in such places? Piston heads is good and free (include lots of picture and make sure cars clean etc)

As to the price I don't know it seems ok, and the spec / colour / millage ok so guess its the time of year? or at the end of the day the price? maybe try £7999 as it seems a lot less ??

Unless others say its too expensive that would be my plan?

cheers

OK - thanks for the advice fella's.

looks like will have to drop the price a bit.

priced it off parkers - mileage adjusted, which gave it at £8940 (without the parktronic)

our local independent recommended advertising for £8,500 (he knows the car).

in the local newspaper at the weekend, so will see how it goes.

did try...

maybe won't let me because I'm a newbie??

I'll have another go.

You can add pictures.
Maybe you were doing something wrong, ie: they were too big?

I must add though, no-one can reply to a classified (for sale ) advert, so ask any interested parties to PM or email you.;)
HTH
