I love my C55 dearly but as Dieselman objectively demonstrated at Olly's GTG and I feel every time I get in it when it is sunny outside, the black paint can make the car steamingly hot, (20c more than a silver car) and I found it very hot on a recent trackday. The climate control is fine, but it is running at full capacity.

I was toying with giving it a white wrap to reflect much of the heat away (which I think would look good with the black wheels) to reduce the sweatiness of car. Does anybody have a wrapper they could recommend in the South East?

Crikey - looks like I did it..

This white C AMG is wrapped (from black I think).

Not South East though, just an example.

That looks nice.

Looks good, he has kept the roof black?

A few more and done by it's owner, a member on here from Leicester

He doesn't fancy a trip to Slough borders by any chance?

Thinking about it - I'm sure it was silver.

The roof was a carbon wrap, though it's been a while since I saw it.

Why do people put German plates on UK cars? They're horrible, chavvy, barry boy & Britwell. I just don't get it.

An un-salubrious suburb of Slough?

Not to mention illegal:doh: I got nicked in a customers car with them on, £60 lighter and never again will I collect or deliver cars with dodgy plates, see HERE

Going to a dedicated 'car wrapping' company will cost you an arm and a leg Charles, try to find a vehicle sign writing firm like those that cover commercial vehicles etc.

A friend of mine paid just over a grand to have it wrapped by such a company and they did a blinding job.

charles , drop lopes a PM, he had his E55 wrapped at his bodyshop in Acton and its a pretty good job.

Lopez is the man, highly recommend
