In some delphi systems yes, but not in bosch if done properly...

thanks ... looking for a way to delete dpf codes... only this is the system my mechanic has in hand...and he is not sure what how to go about it.. or if there is software compatible with xentry

You delete fault codes by fixing the car, not by clearing codes with a diag tool. Is it an issue with the differential pressure sensor?

Xentry is the SW, SDconnect (PartD etc.) is the HW. No way to use SDconnect with some other SW really.
