I have recently had 5 new glow plugs fitted on my W211 E280, apparently No, 1 plug is stuck, so the other 5 have been renewed (allegedly !) But, I am still having to wait at least 30 seconds before the car will start, it's really just with the first start of the day, early in the cold mornings...

I have excessive wear on the outside of my front nearside tyre is this alignment or a suspension issue ? it is only on the passenger side front, not the drivers side !

Is is advised to let your engine, particularly a diesel, warm up before you set off, particularly in winter / cold mornings ! or is it best just to set off immediately ?

My radio sometimes appears to lose volume, its almost like something has covered the speakers, and the volume lowers, it's not muffled, but just seems to lower, it only lasts for a couple of seconds, doesn't happen all that often. What causes this ?

My E280 CDi sometimes wont kick-down, its only happened 3 times now, and on 2 occasions, when, say joining a dual carriageway. and I put my foot down, the car judders quite a bit ! On the occasions when it wont kick down, it'll still build up speed, but not very quickly. I had the ATF changed...
