Stripping a 280 SE or SEL in the next couple of days so if you need anything let me know quickly!

Will be stripping a 280 (think its the SEL model) this week, just thought I'd see if anyone needs any bits? Its quite rusty, and all the bodykit, wheel and boot has gone.

Hi. I was testing the fuel consumption on my car this weekend. I had it tuned last week, and was curious on how the consumption was compared to earlier. I have the straight 6, 3,2 litre engine, and the lowest consumption I got was: 5.8 liters/100 km = 48.7036097 miles/gallon(UK) Not bad IMHO

Hi i would like to get some sort of workshop manual to aid me in mechanical work on the engine of my 280SL (1985 model). Haynes do a manual for the W123 series that covers 250 and 280 engines. can anyone confirm if its the same 280 engine (110?) as in my SL? thanks Derek
