Hello all
I just noticed that there is a small circular crack around the dipstick to the abc fluid reservoir in my w215 CL. It looks like someone pushed in hard or leaned heavily on the dipstick. Obviously I would like to get this fixed but in the meantime will driving the car with the...

Guys,
I pretty know what jobs I need done on my CL55, the only 'biggie' is the ABC fluid.
Waiting on M.B.S - Mercedes-Benz Specialist price in Southampton but want to know what to expect.
Only other jobs - (SC belt, Tranny fluid, gear box mounts, I can get my usual mech to fit)
thanks.
Some of what follows has been discussed in a technical thread. This narrative brings the story up to date with a further development and asks the question: what do you do when an M-B authorised repairer turns out to be a nightmare and there's no easy alternative?
The car in question is a 2003...
Hi, does anyone have any good contacts or recommendations for where to get hold of an ABC pump? Mine's leaking oil and need replacing!
It's for my R230 SL55 AMG 2004.
Thanks in advance!

Greenoaks and Hughes both looked at my CL600 and having paid £850 to both for rodeo test and various diagnostics(different things for each dealer and see if they highlighted other issues), I was handed a rectification bill of £3,700 - £4200 WTF...

I am writing this DIY as I don’t find the instructions in WIS to be very informative. It describes how I replaced my own ABC pump after my local dealer wanted to charge over $8k for the job, due to an occasional red ABC Drive Carefully warning on my dashboard, and me needing to re-prime my pump...

Hello all. My first post.
I bought a CL55 2002 plate with 138K on the clock. It had 1 owner from new and it was in mint condition. I took out a 1 year 4 star warranty (with WGS) at the time I bought it, as recommended by the dealer. He did say the abc pump will be covered.
Just over 2 months...
Hello
I am new to this forum and recently bought a SL500 2004. It is my first Mercedes (dare I say on here I have 2 Jaguars; XKR and XJR and just sold a 645) so I am a bit of a V8 car nut. Having seen around 40 500's at auction over this year I finally found one that I felt was suitable, of...
Today I sold my my S500, what a beautiful car it was, it had every feature under the sun and was lovley but drive but god dam the ABC mechanism on the car is the absoultley £$£"" thing ever.
It just had a mind of its own about when it would decide to brake. I would go to work everything would...
Hello all,
So my car has been sat on the drive for three months and until last weekend hadn't moved but it only made it 1/2 mile before breaking down requiring recovery. :wallbash:
My question is, does any special care need to be taken to the ABC suspension or is it happy to be left alone...
An ABC strut has just been replaced on my 2003 SL500 at a cost of £1,300 following the 'soft' 'ABC Visit Workshop' malfunction warning.
As soon as the car was returned, the dash flashed up the 'red' warning: 'ABC - Drive Carefully!'.
The repairer is now telling me that the pump also needs to...
Hi All,
I heard to keep you car trouble free from ABC issues you should do a fluid flush every 20,000 miles, this would take me ages to cover. Does anybody do this and seen results? If so does anybody reccomend a time period instead of mileage period of when to do it?
Also how often do you...
HI. I'm in the process of changing this worn out ABC suspension to a SL suspension. It's the same as a SL350 but there's 5
important things to complete must be done. 1. Front torsion bar 2. Rear torsion bar 3. Replace tandem pump to a single pump 4. ABC delete and data card. 5. 20 hours labour.
