In this weeks issue, Autocar buy a W124 estate to see how it works as a long termer (with a little help from a certain Nick Froome). They've bought a blue 280 for £1,100.

Just got my subscription copy of Mercedes Enthusiast today and its got an article on my 300E Twin Turbo that I sold just after they road tested the car for the article.

I saw an article on 5th Gear last night that suggested that for a modest £2.50 and completion of a form, it was possible to get the name and address of the Registered Keeper of a car, just from the number plate.
Is this really true?
