badging

Was behind a nice S class diesel today, picture isn't the best but it looks like There was an AMG badge on the right and then a 'hand crafted by' AMG badge on the left. Has he put the badge on, surely an AMG line S class diesel wouldn't be badged up like that?

Just a thought but why is the w210 E240 badged as a 240 when it has a 2.6 litre engine? I know certain BMW cars have a similar badging difference and was curious to know why :dk:

Looking for a C230 Kompressor yesterday, came across a "new/old shape CLK Kompressor" - who is this going to fool? WHY OH WHY BOTHER?? Not even believable as it's all wonky and just winds me up!:crazy...

On the bus just now I saw a shiny black CLS that was badged: CLS 320 CGI We were right next to it, and that's definitely what it said. I wonder if it was really there?! :D (CGI)

OK, as some will know ... I will soon (hopefully!) be taking delivery of what is almost certainly the fastest production van around :bannana: The badging on the tailgate will say "Vito" on the left and "120 CDI" on the right, which is pretty meaningless unless you're a Vito spotter...

Just saw a silver W210 face lift on my way to carry out a errand and it was badged as E270 CDI...:rolleyes: Who is he trying to fool as there was no 270 CDI for the W210 apart from 220 and 320 CDIs. However, this car was a rare spec as had OEM PTS (I have not seen many 210s with this...

Hi guys, just changed my TT225 Coupe for a CLk 230K Cab, 2002, Jet black with Brabus 18" alloys, skirts and bumpers. Love it (even though it is 100 X slower!) but now have a family on the way, I need more space. If anyone has any ideas on the above, I would love to hear from you. Kind...
