I want to do a brake pad change on my W221. On the front how can I push the piston back? I have a C clamp would that be sufficient? Also as the rears are electric operated would it be more hassle than it's worth and take it to a garage?

CLS55 would you expect to have replaced disc's or pads after 37k in 18mths, this is including 4 trips into Europe & general driving UK or not at all? Could these be changed on a 'A' or'B' service as part of service ?

hello , ive read a few threads about the SBC system and diy brakes change on the e class. is it 100 % ok to simply lock the car and get on with the job and be safe . any help would be great as my brakes need changed and id normally just do my own . cheers .
