When I started driving I noticed that every 10 seconds the car was making a noise similar to the noise of not released handbrake and at that point I felt that the car was shaking slightly. So after about 500 meters I stopped and checked the car and noticed that it the front driver's side is...
Hi, my W210 E320 CDi has this leak from the fuel filler cap area which I've read about and it seems the filler cap is the issue (it has a cheap after market one at the moment). I am going to source a dealer with this in stock and get one first thing in the morning and see if this solves the leak...

Hi guys, I need 1 Centre cap for an early 3 piece amg oz split rim. Am I right in believing the earlier style had Centre caps with a smaller diameter than the later produced rims? Thanks
For quite a while now, i've had intermittent difficulty removing the fuel filer cap on my 210. I can always do it in the end but SWMBO sometimes has to go and find a strong man to help.
The cap is basically very difficult to turn. Does anybody else experience this. Why does it happen?
G'day guys, newbie posting here.
I have a Benz W124 E220 2.2L 4 CYL Saloon it's 1994, I'm getting into horse riding but I don't want to give up my E class for a 4X4 because I love my Benz. I need to be able to tow a float that would weigh around 800kgs and a horse about 500kgs probs a bit...
Hi, I have an 80's set of Remotec wheels for my SEC, they are the spoked effect type. The large centre cap covers the centre of the wheel and the bolt area, and its meant to have a rubber ring around the edge so it seats against the wheel nicely.
The problem is that mine are perished and I...

A very minor problem, but if not too difficult I would like to fix it.
The pin that locks the filler cap cover is being energised, but does not come out far enough to be effective. Is it a big job to remove the boot trims to get at the problem solenoid? Or any other ideas? Thanks
I feel a complete donkey for asking this question BUT needs must.
I am attempting to remove the oil filler cap. Having located such item I notice it has a screw head in the middle of the cap. Is this just for effect or do I need a spanner to remove ? Seems bizarre just to remove filler cap...
My friend has a 1984 123 series 230 E petrol. He would like to know how to get the Power Steering Resevoir Cap off. Might sound a bit daft, but he's not sure wether you twist, pull or yank. I think its rubber. He dosent want to damage it i presume. Many thanks for your time.
