Ok, as you may remember, from some time ago, looking for a run around for my father. Consideration now is the cls i find the new model too aggressive, and less harmonious than the outgoing model, and feel the current model is also significantly more elegant. father is near 60 yrs old, so the...

Has my current model increased in value

Ok here is another gloat, well not actually i'm just commenting on how well Mercedes marketing has worked. example. E class S211.. When I first saw this model come out I had a choice of classic, elegance and Avantgarde. All ranges had their own design elements, whether you wanted a...

ok here is another moan.. well not actually, but just to assess if Mercedes has marketed the brand in a sound way or not.. example. E class S211.. Now when this model range came out you had a choice of classic, elegance and Avantgarde. All ranges had their own design elements, whether you...

How long has your current exhaust lasted ?

:dk:You know when you have a nagging concern at the back of your mind that you wonder when the time could be up for your current exhaust - especially if its the original factory fit.The problem is as they tend to corrode from the inside, its hard to judge when its on its way out - generally when...

    Current rust warranties

I'm looking to change my present E320cdi Estate convertible (converting to iron oxide!) for something newer. I'm really tempted to go for a W211 E320cdi around a year old, but I'm very bothered about what it's going to look like in 10 years time. Will it be dissolving into iron/aluminium oxide...

Hello Lads, I had previous posted here, that my 2001 S320 is going flat over a period of 8-10 hours. A gentleman had suggested to check for quiescent current and thus I ordered a multimeter , which has arrived yesterday, but I dont know which setting to choose and how to check. If someone...

Current price range for SL63 AMG?

Hi all, With the weakening pound against foreign currencies, we are looking at possibly picking up a new or near-new SL63 AMG (new face-lift version). Does anyone here have any idea on the rough ballpark figure for a near-new 2008 SL63 AMG in the current financial climate?

Merc sales in current economic climate...

Went into my dealer this afternoon, at about 2pm. Seems I was about the third person through the door all day. People downsizing means they're left with loads of MLs and petrol Es to sell, which of course, they can't, because most people who can afford to run them can afford to buy them new. And...

Current drain + dash warning lamps

Hey all, A few days ago i bought a well specced '93 320te. Plenty of minor faults as you'd expect on a cheap, complex, 15 year old car but all the important bits checked out during viewing/test drive. Looks to have been well looked after for most of it's life (lots of history etc), performed...
