Hi, I think I have read somewhere you cannot dim/turn off the screen on a W211 COMAND NTG1 unit - is this correct? If not, please tell me how as it drives me nuts in the dark on long drives! (to turn screen off currently I have to turn everything off = silence!). Best, Iain

can i fit a automatic dimming mirror to my class? my car has ir remote with flip key and red and green light in the mirror is it much job to fit it ? how much will a mirror like that cost? Lars

Has anyone used "euromerc " for parts and have they been reliable in price and quality. I need a N/S Dimming heated mirror for my w203 c270cdi 2004 facelift and they seemed reasonable in price , unless some one can point me in the right direction as need one this week. Many thanks. Mark.

Hello, The exterior driver side mirror stopped dimming (bluring) at night when light from behind vehicles beams it. The interior mirror keeps on dimming. Does anyone has any idea? W211 E200 MY2009

my CLK comes with a manual dimming mirror (can't believe it was a standard feature!! :confused:). Does anyone know if it's a straight swap for an auto dimming one. I know it is on a W202 as I did it on my old C36.

I've got a RVM for a facelift W202; bought off MercMan a few years ago and never fitted as my car is pre-facelift. Comes without instructions as I managed to lose those... but still comes in the original box that Mercman sent it in :p Not sure what it's worth, so offers kindly accepted :)...

Is it true that the mirrors "undim" if the car is placed into reverse gear? ie to make reversing easier? I read this somewhere else and think it dubious, put I thought I would put it out there for response :D

Hi All, Bought this but it doesn't suit my W203 as I have phone prep (the mic for the phones is housed in the mirror, but this one doesn't have the mic) Any offer considered, nice upgrade for a C Class Saloon or Coupe, especially now the nights are drawing in and we'll be driving in the dark...

hey, I got an auto rvm but the mirror always remains dark unless the ignition is switched off or the gear is in reverse. Any ideas what the problem could be? cheers.
