why has a cl cabrio never happened, but intead you see the likes of the ocean drive concept after market conversions happen all the time to the cl, but surely the market is huge for ultra expensive cabrios of the cl league... ???

Well, on the drive to Cambridge actually :rolleyes: Every time I accelerated, (and revs rose above ~2000rpm ) I could hear what sounded like the aircon fan ramping up. Only for as long as the car was accelerating hard, as I eased off the noise stopped. The aircon fan was running all the time...

The dreaded fault where the throttle can just cut at anytime. You will be driving along and then without warning, and then, no response at all, you never know when, it did it on me this morning ½ way across a dual carriageway, the engine does not stop,, I can belt it down the road and go miles...

Hi, I was driving along in my 6 year old SLK and all of a sudden the speedometer goes to zero and all the dashboard lights flash on. You then slow down and the car gets stuck in first gear. Has this ever happened to anyone else? Thanks in advance Greg
