Quick question - is the general consensus that one should always change brake pads when replacing disks even if they are 80 % still there ? What about if you are only skimming disks to remove a small lip ?

Have just replaced the brake pads on my 2003 C180 komp sports coupe and the brake pad wear warning still appeared. So have had to change the wear sensor aswell. So if your changing front pads on a W203 C class it might be worth getting a sensor as they are only £3.80 from euro car parts.
