Great value and totally unique private plate for sale "P900 GAN" I want £4000 for it because if you really squint and place loads of white screw caps over the "00 GAN" it then says "P9" which is worth about £5m. If you don't want to do the screw cap thing, you can separate the characters...

What is best? Get the dealer to register the car, and then assign the plate yourself? Give the transfer doc (and plates if made up) to the dealer and get them to sort it? And what happens at resale time if you choose the latter? TIA
