Anyone suggest a way to get at this piece of **** item without dismantling the car?
Most stuff on the W123 is well engineered and relatively easy to get at, then there's the odd thing that is close to impossible.
The car is CLK W209. When I driving I can use this switch only 5 times. After that the windshield washer system don't work. When I turning ignition off and again turning ignition on or starting the engine, the windshield washer system works but again only 5 times.

Hi,
I need to fit a new headlight/mirror switch. I can't disconnect the wired multi-plug from the old switch. Is there some kind of method for doing this? Maybe a break off tab or something of the kind? I seem to be missing something.
Any help or advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks.
Hi guys
Today my roof switch was a bit stiff and I ended up breaking the red bit on top.
Question is, will an R129 or R230 switch fit, as there are some on eBay but not A124.
Thanks in advance

At night, on my exterior lights switch panel, the knob itself and the foglights button are illuminated, whilst the half-circle section showing the different knob position symbols is not.
It looks odd to me as it is the only part of the dash that is not lit, and I think I'm noticing it for that...
