Came across this on the interweb Classic Car Day 2011 looks like it could be a good event for those not on the marathon trip round Scotland.

Just a few pictures from the weekends Silverstone Classic meeting....the official club had a stand and tried to get 107 107SL's onto the track for a parade. Ended up with 80 odd 107's on the day.......

On Sunday I took a trip up to Perth via the southside of Glasgow to pick up a pal for Lunch. Lunch needless to say was splendid and enjoyable. The weather was lovely, 20c + and I wanted to see the most efficiency I could get for the car, as we took the boring way up, so wanted to save fuel...

So .... over the weekend i bought .... An S reg A160 with a dead semi auto gearbox ..... with full Brabus kit and wheels :cool: Will be swapping it over onto the purple peril over the course of the summer .... :rock: Nick came with me to pick it up. A nice day out to Bolton...

I might be in the position to purchase a BMW M5 one of the last E39 series. I have known the car from new and it is a minter one owner full history etc. Now it has been some years since I had high powered petrol cars, would I still enjoy it, 400 ish BHP. Anyone have a similar garage arrangement.
