‘24 C63 S206… Oh Dear

Sources tell me that it hasn’t been available to order in the UK for quite a while in the period since launch. That happened with the Artura too and has almost certainly damaged sales.

The sales figures say it all really. I've only seen at the most 3 w206 C63s in the whole time they have been out. But the M3 Wagon that's been out for about 5 minutes I've probably seen at least 10.
Never seen one.... as far as the power is concerned, that's great..... but you can't beat physics and 2111kg will NEVER handle like a 16 or 1700 kg car will........ and to me handling is way more important than being a fraction of a second quicker to 60 than the competition.....how often do you go zero to sixty flat out..... not very for 99.9 % of drivers. Just about every test I've seen says the weight is very obvious despite the power. All irrelevant to me because I'm about as likely to ever have over 100k to spend on a small saloon as I am to walk on the moon! And I doubt that such a highly tuned little four pot with loads of delicate electronics and hybrid power will last long enough to ever become a cheap used car!!!!

Mb Tonbridge have one on display, model 3 perf and ioniq 5 will both slaughter it for a fraction of the £.

Not quite.... only the Ioniq 5 N version gets close..0 to 60....3.25 seconds.... just about equalling the C63.... so far from slaughtering it. The stocker I 5 takes a yawn inducing 4.4 seconds! Top speed of the N is 162 mph against 174 for the C63.

I’d have one. Looks incredible. 671bhp & 3.4 seconds not to be sniffed at. 4 wheel drive too! 🥳. I seriously wouldn’t care it was a 4 pot. Move with the times.

But £101k? 😳
So would I, people get hung up about it being a 4 pot, so bl00dy what! Just put a deposit down on one. 🤣😂

So would an MG X Power. For about £28,000. Not the point though, if you can afford one. Still a fantastic motor. 🙂👍
The reviews say otherwise it's a 100k failure.

Is that MG still on the cards Toe?
It is, Ant. Good job I waited though, as the price you can get a Brand new one for now, is brilliant compared to when I first mentioned it. At the moment though my C207 has an engine warning light on, it won't rev beyond 1500 revs, it's intermittent sometimes on sometimes off. So need to get that sorted first. But yep still on the cards. And definitely an Orange one. 🙂👍

Technically it’s impressive but there’s much more interesting machinery for £100k IMO - other estates included.

With the noise of the 4 pot you’d be better off going full electric. At least then you can get some decent savings via salary sacrifice or similar.

Given the weight and cost I’d prefer an E63s , maybe with a remap - pretty much the same power for half the cost and less to go wrong.

That said I thought I’d end up getting my C63 remapped but you can seldom use even 500hp on the road as much as I’d like to.
