Hi Guys,

Since Ben and I have received our new cars, we are thinking of heading back to the 'ring in about a months time. This time the focus will be less on motoring heritage and more on land speed records.

If anyone's interested in joining us, please let me know. Some people at the Chrysler Crossfire forums have already expressed some interest in heading over with us.

Looking forward to making another video - this time it will be an epic. Camera equipment of any type is now banned on the ring, but we got away with it last time. :D

Sadly won't be able to make it this time as too busy moving house . . . . but I'll register my early interest in a copy of the DVD :D

At this stage I don't know if I'll be able to make it or not :( but like Sym, I'd also like to add my name to the queue for the DVD footage :D The last one is awesome heh heh heh

Time to invest in a large car blanket eh and maybe a few coats?? ;) I can just picture the fraulines... "Ist that Ben pleased to see us? or is he packing a camcorder and suction mount in his pockets?" Ooh ooer missus :p

Glad to see some interest in the DVD! :-) I have some ideas this time for further entertainment. The Crossfire doesn't have many bits of flat anything though so mounting the camera's going to be fun. This year's effort deserves a proper DVD box and arty-farty cover at the very least.

Ben and I have decided that we are going to head over even if we are by ourselves.

It's very tempting. I think I enjoyed the "road trip" there and back as much as being on the 'ring itself.

I'll have the C230K for a while now, and I'd love to experience the monster touring abilities of it again.

I don't think I could bring myself to take my daily driver around the 'ring again, as it was a pretty daring thing to do the first time and and I think the 2nd visit to the 'ring confidence might just be pushing my luck.

The dreamer in me would love to pick up a now very cheap for the car Nissan 200SX Touring or similar as for the money, the 200BHP turbo would be an ideal car for the trip, but my finances are now aiming towards a more long term 2nd car, I can't really afford to blow that much cash just for the trip.

I want to be able to drive there in my car, to be abale to cruise with the big boys on the autoabahn, but have an old Golf with a roll cage waiting for me at the ring to go around in!! Even if this was possible I must remember I am not disposable like an old car, so perhaps this is one experieince to just be remembered, not repeated!

Have fun guys, I know you will.

Keep me posted about dates/plans. I could be tempted to come along for the ride, but not venture back on the track.

Guys.................
Another Ring trip............. I could be up for this one ;)
Let me know the dates asap...... as time is tight....

Spare seat available, anyone for a passenger ???
You all know me, Sunday Afternoon drive around the ring !!! :D

Super! Will get on the dog'n'bone to Ben later today and get some dates together. Have to check the 'ring schedule for available days.

You can put me down as pretty much definate for a passenger. The time to go is not the problem, just trusting myself on the track!

Co-pilot sounds like the best option. Great!! Come on, get announcing dates as I will have to get these booked. August is a no no work wise, but I expect you are talking later anyhow.

We ought to have a seat free. Ben and I are taking both cars, but only one passenger.

Not quite. I am not a particularly good driver in GT, but enjoy it alot!

Dorian, quite fancy being passenger - let me know asap about Scott's proposed dates, so I can confirm I can book leave.

Graham,

Even if Dorian cannot make it, looks like we may have another spare seat in one of our cars. Another Aussie mate wants to come along, but he's not sure if he can get the time off work. Even if he does come, we'll probably still have a spare seat.

Looks like it will be the earlier weekend now, as that Bank Holiday weekend looks very expensive and busy.

I would love to come to this but the proposed weekend I am Bull-Running  in Penafiel, Spain. If the date changes count me in but if not best of luck guys :D

Guys,
Sorry for the late reply, but can't do this weekend, what between work and Racing, there is very little time. :(
I need to plan trips like this ahead........
If things change then let me know, as I'll love to go................. ;)

We're off on Friday! Anyone need anymore stickers?
