Will a 500E rear subframe and diff fit in place of the standard 124 one?

Try these guys. If anyone knows they will. 500E (W124.036) Fanatics' Utopia 2 things----- the rear of the 500 was basically a modified version of the R129 rear end afaik----and the R129 floorpan was based on the W124--- so my guess and its only a guess is it will fit but there might be clearance issues????
ps also not sure why you want to do this anyway??

Thanks for the link. Well im considering the possibility of an engine swap later, so whether I go down the M119 route or a LS1 or Chevy V8, I need to have some sort of a rear diff/drivetrain and gearbox which will cope with the power and torque. The current setup will be eaten for breakfast by one of those engines.
