129 SL280 EC Light

Hi all my air con is not working at all the EC light is on when i start the car have to hold the button down for a long time probably bout 20-30secs for it to go away and still hot air comes out had it regassed service guy said no leaks or nothing the climate control is the digital version, I get the error code B1755 from star it says serial interface K2 from AC to instrument control????

Anyone know what this is

Also when turning ac on with ec button light off the front fans do not switch on at all?
