19" wheels on C63 - which colour?

I've kerbed one of my wheels and on closer inspection I have found that the rears weren't refurbished very well (before I bought the car) although not kerbed. So the questions begin:

Should I refurb and have them done in black instead? What colour is OK so as not to affect resale? Should I stick with original - don't think I can because diamond cutting has taken it's toll on one wheel already - got a bit of a lip. Likewise if I choose black with diamond cut lip. What about black or grey all over?

Picture below is current state. Thoughts welcome for a quick decision.

Not sure about affecting re-sale but personally I'd go anthracite.

My 63 is in palladium silver and the black wheels really set the car off. I imagine they would look as good on an iridium silver car. Personal preference at the end of the day.

My 2013 Polar White C63 came with 18" Alloys, so I've just purchased a set of 19" AMG satin Black Alloys.

Black alloys do seem to be more desirable than silver ones at the moment.

I just need to wrap them with rubber now, can anyone tell me what tyre brand/type and size merc fit from factory?

Is anyone using wider tyres on the rear to help with the old cracking problem?

although mine are matte black with silver rim (bought the car that way) you can't go wrong with a nice bright silver!

Usually prefer black or anthracite but on the C63 I really love the stock silver 19"s as they are a classic design.

I believe you can go wider if you wish but that is standard for the saloon at least.

Black for me. Had my silver 19's powder coated in gloss black.
