190e condensation in cabin

Hi all got a 1988 190e and when it rains the inside of the car fogs up, so I’m thinking there must be a small leak somewhere. Where should I start looking?
I’ve checked the drains by the bonnet hinges they are clear and run to the ground fine. The carpets inside don’t seem damp but they are quite thick and double layered so I will attempt removing them soon, what else can I do to find this?
