1970 250C - starting but not running

Start with the basics . Are you getting fuel to the rails? You might have the pump wired backwards.

It's been a long time since I looked under the hood of my 280CE, does it have ballast resistors ? If so , this is another symptom of one failing.

Rocking horse poo sadly, but Autoteile Glauner in Germany have a used one, Niemoller in Germany say they are available on request, so probably available new from Mercedes. Ebay Germany have a number. Good luck!
