The title pretty much says it all. White with blue leather. Link here. Top dollar for a low mileage car.

I might be in the minority here, but providing it all stacks up as you'd expect, I actually think that's a cheap car.

A 560 too

I'm inclined to agree. Good clean 560's are getting increasingly rare at any price. This one appears to be in similar condition, but is listed for 1k more & has 68k on the clock. Link here.

As long as the maintenance has been kept up I think it's not bad value too.

.....and it's WHITE! So very super cool. I don't think I would put £10k of my own money into it as I coud think of something else I'd want for £10k but it doesn't seem like bad value if it's something you really want and it will most likely be the best one offered for sale for some time.

I bet with lowish usage say 3-4k miles a year it would hold it's value or possibly even appreciate slightly, providing you kept it looking tip-top and didn't take it on salty roads.

Ah, the seductive low mileage. Chances of it having been properly maintained -- very low, I would bet. If I were looking at it, I'd budget twice the normal fee for pre-purchase inspection.

Cheshire Classic Benz

I would also be very interested to know how many owners its had.....I would expect it to be one or two at most, any more than that and I would want to see lots of evidence to support the low mileage and a HPI report

Pity its in wedding white - but so few opportunities come up like this that one can't be too picky about the colour.

I remember ME magazine did a triple feature back and they had a late model nautic blue with cream leather 560SEL that had done 20k IIRC. The price back then was £12k, of course the colour scheme was more desirable than this one but it goes to show that the priced ask for this is not unreasonable. And that was a good three or more years back too as well.

I saw that car about 4 years ago in Marlow when it was for sale in the local paper.

This is all from memory - I dealt with the owner's daughter. He was from Beirut & used the car on his VERY infrequent visits to the UK. It had been garaged all it's life, had looooooooooooooooong periods of inactivity & SH was patchy to missing. Can't remmeber if it didn't exist or she couldn't find it. I do remember she had no old MOTs at all to back up the mileage. It did look like a low mileage garage queen. £10K was the asking price & the mileage was about what it is now.

A while later the car was for sale in the same paper by the new owner in River Road, Maidenhead. V. similar mileage & price.

I've always liked white but 4 years ago it was a deeply uncool colour & a serious impediment to selling a car. I remember people on this forum heckling posts featuring white cars with calls of "Taxi!" & similar amusing banter. White with blue however is one of my pet hates - such a cold combination for the UK's climate. If you live in Las Vegas or Beirut or Saudi Arabia where it's boiling hot it's fine, but here it's like climbing into an ice cube.

It would be very nice with a black or mushroom interior.

Anyway, I didn't think it was worth the money back then. That said, I'm sure some low mileage junkie will have it.

great colour combination
