I bought this car via ebay in 2010 with the intention of fixing it up over time whilst using it as a load lugger/dump run/ 5th bedroom/ touch parking/ narrow gap forcing kind of vehicle.
As my project car is looking at it's 3rd engine rebuild and I'm also losing my free parking it must now be sold.
It's a Grey 1991 w124 300e-24v 5spd estate with 240k on the clock. 9 previous owners. No service book but some history in a rather hap hazard folder
Since I acquired it...being an idiot, I have had a fair bit done in the mistaken belief I would be keeping it...
Oil and filter change
Brake fluid change
Gearbox oil and filter change
Centre and rear exhaust replaced (non MB)
New anti roll bar bushes and prop coupling
New steering idler bush
New bottom ball joints
Two new front road springs and track rods
New blower motor
New ignition coil
Replaced faulty ignition control module
The car runs fine mechanically and ignition problem aside has been totally reliable in my ownership. It is taxed until June '12 and MOT'd until January '13
I'm hoping someone will be inclined to run it with the same intentions as myself but understand if the market dictates it should be broken. It has quite a big spec...

In keeping with a 20+ year car not everything works (much like the owner )
The original(?) alarm is not working so car is on central locking via the only key I have, although it does come in one of those nice leather embossed holders
Drivers electric seat works fine but someone has eaten the controls ! I have a new set will will be provided although it works ok using the stubs.
Big horn needs looking at.
Sunroof motor is working but looks like a corner may have dropped so dopey
before me has sealed it on top
This is easily removable, not sure about the rest.
Climate has been readied for r134 but needs new compressor and dryer. I have these for a small consideration if the new owner requires them. Heater and blower work ok.
Bodywork is not too bad. Pics make it look better than it is. Dents and scrapes are worse than the rust, which is slight but there are marks and scratches on lots of the panels. Nothing hideous and I was pleased it cleaned up pretty well but please remember it's 20+ years old being and is being priced as such. Anything forgotten was not intentional ,the car is what it is and I'm happy to answer any specific concerns.
