I have a Merc E320 Estate Manual petrol that I cannot get to start for sale.
The good points are that the car is more or less rust free allround. No rust on the arches which is the usual place. It is maroon in colour and polishes up really well. The interior is immaculate without the usual wear on the seat fobs.
In the last two years I have spent a lot of money which includes. New Clutch, brakes allround, mass air sensor, tyres, plus a lot more.
Prior to the present problem the car started at the first turn of the key and ran without problems.
The car is stored 35 miles from where I live so it is awkward for me to spend time on it.
I feel that it is too good to scrap and it will make someone a lovely appreciating classic. I feel the stating problem will be an easy fix for someone with the nohow. A mechanic who has looked at it cannot see any problems that are within his expertise but the is no spark.
It is stored in Holywell North Wales.
I want 300 pounds to save scrapping it.
