1995 SL500 Paint Code Location

Hi,

Where do I find the Paint Code sticker on the car?

The manual suggests near the radiator but I don't find anything there that looks right...

Hmm - nope, I've only got a chassis style (R129), a VIN number and a list of weights.

Oh, but there is a "03503T" There as well - is that it?

Maybe not.

I believe the car is Blue/Black in colour, which makes me think the paint code is 199 from what I can find.

But it would still be good to get it confirmed...

If you phone your local MB Dealer and give them the chassis number from the V5 they will be able to give you the colour and code paint number, hope this helps.
