1996 c36 amg lsd

Hello,
I want to put a LSD into my c36.
Would a LSD from a 1989 190 cosworth fit this? The car is a 1989 2.5 litre model.

Or have you any other suggestions?

I very much dobt it would be the correct ratio. Even if it was, mercedes LSD's are not totally mechanical, without the correct hydrulic lines it would not be very effective. The units are designed to give 100% lock when filled with fluid. It is possible to get 35% lock if the clutches are new, however these may not last too long (depending on your driving style).

The diff is a common point of failure on the Cosworths. I think if you were to take a 1989 diff and put it in a C36 it wouldn't last very long at all
