1999 W208 speed cluster to 2001 speed cluster

Hello all,

is there anyway of changing the instrument cluster, from a 1999 CLK 320 to that of a newer model, as they are different and the newer one has the milage/ distance/MPG option, where as the older one doesn't....

Welcome to the forum

This is a mod that a couple of members have carried out and one that I plan to in the future. In addition to the instrument cluster you will need to find a facelift steering wheel and airbag plus some wiring and a few other bits and pieces.

There may be a howto on this forum already but if not I was sent a pdf a few years ago created by a member that includes a lot of pics and instructions.

nope there isnt a how to, can anyone who has done the mod give me some info on how to do it, and exactly what is needed, thanks.
