My father is looking to sell his dark blue 2001 C-class 220CDi Estate Automatic Classic. Being a Classic it is quite a basic spec car, but it does have climate control, cruise control, alloys (I don't know whether these were standard or options). It's a 1 owner car with 60k miles and FSH. There are a few minor bumper scuff marks and the front alloys slightly curbed, but generally I would say the car is in overall very good condition.

Normally I would use Autotrader to help him value it, but there are so few similar cars and they range from £6-8k.

I would guess to advertise it at £6,900 and accept offers near to £6,500. Does anyone else have any suggestions?

Sorry, he doesn't have any photographs yet.

Thanks.

Assuming it is a W203, a more realistic selling price would be £5.5-6K..

Trade in value is £4.5K.

Cheers

hello wemorgan vbmenu_register("postmenu_706484", true); im in the market for a c200, could you ask your father to email me the pictures please?
[email protected]

ps. if it was elegeance then you could ask nearer to 6k - however as its a classic i couldnt offer more than 5k

regards

Jeff

I've looked on Autotrader again and £5k seems to buy:

W202 - mint
W203 - no service history or >100k miles

So an asking price of £6k looks closer to the mark.

Thanks
