2002 A210 - A few questions

Ok, heres are my questions, firstly, there is a hole in the line of buttons above the cd player. Someone suggsted it either be for heated seats, or should be just a blanking cover if no heated seats fitted. As you can see, there is a circuit board with contacts on inside the hole.

Next, I saw this black plastic ring in sticking out of the bottom mouth of the front bumper grill. Am I missing something?

And thirdly, how do I make the climate control/air con come on? DO I just adjust the temp knob, and if at 16 with fan, then the ac will be on or not that simple?

To get the AC to work set fan at 1 or above, temp to cold and ACoff button set so that the light does not show. Should then get cooled air if the system is working.

I think the end button is for heated seats. It should be the same as the one at the other end if you have heated seats.

Ok, thanks. Any ideas on the black plastic loop in the bumper mouth?

Isnt that were the towing eye is screwed in. Check your owners manual.

npuk, I think you're looking at the wrong thing. Looking at the 1st pic of the mouth, under the M on the reg plate. Sticks out of the mouth grill.
